Configure Security

Follow the steps below to set up security for the server.

Some security operations can only be performed by the site administrator, and are not available to organization administrators.

  1. Specify the mechanism for authentication and authorization. See Specify Security Provider.

  2. Optional: Enable multi-tenancy if you plan to have multiple organizations access the server. See Enable Multi-Tenancy.

  3. Define users, groups, and roles: See Create a User, Create a Group, and Create a Role.

  4. Set permissions: See Set Repository Permissions and Set Security Actions.
